We built Wexlo because buying or renting a home in Malta was more complicated than it needed to be. Too many middlemen, too little transparency, and too much money spent on fees that added no value.
Our story
Property in Malta has always been a significant part of life on the island — as an investment, a family milestone, or simply a roof over your head. Yet the process of finding or listing a property was fragmented: outdated platforms, phone calls that led nowhere, and agency fees that could amount to thousands of euros just for an introduction.
Wexlo was created to change that. We started with a simple idea: what if private owners could list their properties directly — with no commissions, no agency markup, and full control over their listing? And what if buyers and renters could browse those listings without being pushed towards options that suit an agent's portfolio rather than their needs?
The result is two platforms built for two different audiences, but united by the same principle: property transactions should be straightforward, honest, and fair.
